Localization Project Management
Main duties: Analyse software and technical documentation for localization requirements; develop budgets and detailed implementation schedules. Supervise long-range localization programs; act as key liaison with customers. Contribute in all phases of project planning, QA process definition, and tools selection; interface with project managers, localization engineers, test engineers, linguists, and desktop publishers. Perform final QA on all projects prior to delivery.

Localization Process
Main duties: Experience in use Trados, IBM Translation Manager, MS Helium and LocStudio on different projects. Engage in common L10N engineering activities such as analyzing and preparing files for translation, rebuilding localized software, extracting and externalizing strings, locating and managing translatable resources, resizing GUIs, and L10N quality assurance. Solve the complex issue of maintaining translation consistency by making proprietary translation memory for software and documentation reusable as translation memory for test scripts.

Desktop Publishing
Main duties: Use desktop publishing (PageMaker, Quark Xpress, FrameMaker), graphics art manipulation (Photoshop, Paintshop Pro, Illustrator), word processing (MS Word), PDF publishing (Adobe Acrobat), spreadsheet (Excel), web design (HomeSite, FrontPage).
